Meet the Instructors at Song’s Taekwondo…
Song Brown is a 7th Degree Black Belt and a Master Level Black Collar Taekwondo Instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience, as well as 3 years of AAU Taekwondo Junior Olympic Team coaching experience. He has been awarded the Choong Sil Kwan Taekwondo “Instructor of the Year”, as well as various other awards in recognition of his teaching.
Master Brown is excellent with children (having eight of his own!), as well as being fully competent in working with adults. In fact, several of his students have gone on to open successful studios of their own in other cities and states.
Master Brown is the Chief Instructor at our Clarksville location, and serves as a senior ranking judge at our Pleasant View location on occasion.
Song Brown II, the oldest son of Master Brown, is a 5th Degree Black Belt and a Certified Chief Instructor in Taekwondo. He began assisting with classes at the Clarksville location at a very young age, and has gone on to open up his own location in Pleasant View, Tennessee, where he has been teaching for over 10 years.
Mr. Brown is the Chief Instructor for the Pleasant View location.
Nicole Brown Hood is a 3rd Degree Black and a Red Collar (Assistant Instructor) and has been involved with teaching classes and summer camps for the last 10 years.
Miss Nicole used to assist primarily at our Pleasant View location, but has recently switched to our Clarksville location.
Brittany Brown is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and has been taking taekwondo classes since she was five years old. She recently earned her Red Collar (Assistant Instructor) certification.
Miss Brittany assists at our Clarksville location, as well as running our Little Dragons program with Mr. Josiah.
Christopher Brown has been training in Taekwondo for 15 years, and has been helping his father, Master Brown, for the past 6 years with classes and summer camps. He is a 3rd Degree Black Belt, and in February of 2011 he tested for and received his Red Collar (Assistant Instructor).
Mr. Christopher is an Assistant Instructor at our Pleasant View and Clarksville locations.
Josiah Brown is a Red Collar (Assistant Instructor) and a 3rd Degree Black Belt, and has been doing taekwondo for the last 13 years.
Mr. Josiah teaches classes at our Clarksville location. He and Miss Brittany head up our Little Dragons class.
Caleb Brown also began training at an early age. He has progressed to the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt, and has earned his Red Collar (Assistant Instructor) certification.
Mr. Caleb works alongside his father and siblings in Clarksville.
