Song’s Tae Kwon Do has made an impact on my son and my life in a very short period of time. I am still amazed at the subtle ways Tae Kwon Do, and the staff at Song’s Tae Kwon Do have affected my son and myself.

My son Patrick (14) has improved his flexibility and self-esteem. I have noticed he is more polite and enjoys helping others. I feel the Tenets of Tae Kwon Do – Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit – have begun to show up in his day-to-day activities and they affect how he treats others.

For myself, I have found that I have increased flexibility and actually enjoy exercising. Mr. Brown and Mr. Kruck are willing to help students learn and be successful. For example, they have worked tirelessly with me to help me overcome my fear of sparring. I feel that I have begun to incorporate the Tenets of Tae Kwon Do into my everyday life experiences and social moments without even knowing I am doing it.

I guess some of the side effects of Tae Kwon Do for both my son and I are increased strength, speed, concentration, and weight loss. I feel that Tae Kwon Do has affected my son and I physically and spiritually.
I have noticed that Mr. Brown and Mr. Kruck don’t use negativity in their teaching. You will hear a lot of praise and positive correction within the lessons and personal conversations. This positive atmosphere encourages students to do their best without feeling bad about making mistakes. Students are constantly encouraged to do their best, not only at practice, but also in their day-to-day lives.

I feel the gentlemen at Song’s Tae Kwon Do have affected my son and my life in a positive way, and I am looking forward to the months and years to come to see how they will continue to help my son and I live a happy and healthy life.
